Over thirty years, a connected circle of family members, friends, and longtime collaborators rooted in Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC area has made music together in changing configurations. Beginning with Arise From Thorns in 1996, the story continues through Brave and branches into Stellar Death, Day of Departure, and Element of Fate, each with its own musical direction.

The work has largely been created independently, sustained by the desire to keep writing, recording, and performing together. Established in 2020, Bravemusic is a home for the five projects and the history they share. This retrospective follows their separate musical worlds from the earliest recordings to work that remains active in 2026.
